Frequently asked questions

Is the Executive AI Value Creation Workshop an AI awareness session?

No. The workshop assumes that the leadership team already understands why AI matters. It focuses on a specific business priority, where AI can create economic value, how the target workflow should change, and what should happen next.

Do Clients need to prepare anything for the Executive AI Value Creation Workshop?

The only thing to prepare is deciding on a few business goals that you want to address during the workshop. Everything else will happen in-workshop. There is no pre-reading materials or homework required.

Do we need to start with the Executive AI Value Creation Workshop?

No. The workshop is useful when the leadership team needs alignment, prioritization, or a credible starting point. Organizations with a defined roadmap, use case, or implementation gap can engage us directly for AI Roadmap Implementation or Fractional AI Advisor support.

Who should attend the Executive AI Value Creation Workshop?

The workshop is designed for a focused group of C-level executives in your organization. Collectively, they understand the business priorities, operating workflows, economics and organizational implications. The most relevant participants should be selected based on the issue being addressed.

What will we leave the Executive AI Value Creation Workshop with?

The output is a prioritized AI intervention plan tied to a business goal, an initial view of the redesigned workflow, key human judgment and control points, implementation requirements, success measures, and a concrete action plan.

What does the AI Roadmap Implementation include?

The scope depends on the initiative. It may include workflow redesign, technical architecture, prototype development, AI engineering, systems integration, human-in-the-loop controls, implementation management, frontline validation, rollout, and value measurement.

Can you implement a roadmap created by another consulting firm?

Yes. We can begin with an existing roadmap or use case. Before implementation, we will need to validate the commercial assumptions, technical feasibility, workflow design, controls, and delivery requirements so the work is grounded in operating reality.

Do you build AI systems?

Where the engagement requires it, yes. We may prototype or engineer the solution directly, work alongside the client’s internal technology team, coordinate focused specialists, or collaborate with an existing implementation partner. The delivery model is chosen around the problem rather than a fixed staffing structure.

Can you work with our existing technology vendors?

Yes. Keystone One is technology-neutral and does not need to replace an existing vendor. We help ensure that the right business problem is being solved, challenge assumptions where necessary, connect the technical work to operating change, and keep delivery focused on measurable value.

What does a Fractional AI Advisor do?

A Fractional AI Advisor provides ongoing senior judgment across an organization’s AI agenda. The role may include initiative prioritization, executive decision support, vendor challenge, architecture and governance review, implementation steering and capability planning.

Who leads the work?

The same senior advisor leads the engagement from the initial discussion through the work being delivered. This preserves context and decision continuity. Additional engineering, industry, or change expertise is brought in only where the scope requires it.

Can a small specialist advisory firm support implementation safely?

Yes. Keystone One retains senior accountability for the value case, operating design, technical decisions, and delivery direction. Implementation can combine the client’s internal team, existing vendors, and selected specialists. The model is designed to add the capabilities required for the engagement without creating unnecessary consulting overhead.

How long do engagements last?

The Executive AI Value Creation Workshop is a one-day engagement. Implementation typicall takes several months depending on technical and organizational scope, but rarely more than 6 months. Fractional AI Advisor engagements are ongoing and structured around an agreed cadence and set of responsibilities.

How do you measure success?

Success is defined against the business priority agreed at the beginning of the engagement. Typically, we recommend using operational metrics combined with financial metrics, depending on how short/long the feedback loops are between adoption and financial impact.

How do you handle confidential data and sensitive business information?

Data access, approved tools, working environments, and specialist access are agreed before delivery begins. Sensitive work can be performed within client-approved systems where required, with access limited to the needs of the engagement.

Do you sell a proprietary AI platform?

No. Keystone One is technology-neutral. We select, design, or integrate the technical approach that best fits the business problem, existing systems, risk requirements, and economics.

Do you only work in specific industries?

The approach is industry-agnostic, but the work is always specific to the company. We focus on the business model, value chain, workflows, economics, data, and operating constraints rather than applying a generic industry playbook.
